Business Perspectives and Research (BPR) is the management journal of K J Somaiya Institute of Management, Mumbai. It aims to publish empirically, applied, and conceptual research in the field of management. The journal aims to expand and enhance the understanding of business and management through empirical investigation and theoretical analysis. BPR is also a platform for insightful and theoretically strong conceptual and review papers that would contribute to the body of knowledge. BPR adheres to a rigorous double-blind reviewing policy in which the identity of both the reviewer and author are always concealed from both parties. Online First allows final articles (completed and approved articles awaiting assignment to a future issue) to be published online before their inclusion in a journal issue, which significantly reduces the lead time between submission and publication. The journal is fully integrated with the Publons platform. Business Perspectives and Research started in the year 2002 under the name ‘Synergy’. In 2011 it was registered under the new title ‘Business Perspectives and Research’. The first issue of BPR published under SAGE Publications was Volume 3, issue 1 (Jan 2015). At present, the journal is Scopus indexed and is also part of multiple indexed databases like the Australian Business Deans Council (ABDC), Indian Citation Index (ICI), UGC-CARE (GROUP II), J-Gate DeepDyve, Portico, Dutch-KB, EBSCO, OCLC, Ohio. From 2024 onwards, BPR will be published quarterly.
