The World Journal of Endocrine Surgery (WJOES) is a double-blind peer-reviewed open access journal providing a forum for high-quality papers pertaining to all areas of the pathophysiology and pathobiology of endocrine diseases, medical and surgical management of disorders of endocrine glands. The journal also focuses on highlighting the training tools in the field of endocrine surgery as well as highlight issues of public health importance related to endocrine sciences. The journal also publishes well written manuscripts from lesser-known centres around the world so that these centres come into the mainstream of the field of endocrine surgery. The journal focuses on publishing experience on rare familial endocrinopathies so that readers can benefit from the few centres of excellence in the area of rare endocrine disorders.
