Proceedings of the Indian National Science Academy is a peer-reviewed journal, publishing original research and reviews across various scientific disciplines. The journal covers a broad range of scientific fields including physics, chemical sciences, earth & planetary sciences, and more. It does not accept original research papers in the areas of pure and applied mathematics. Special Issues or Sections on thematic topics are published periodically. The journal has a rich history, dating back to its inception in 1935. Beginning from 2006, the Academy merged the Parts A and B making each issue interdisciplinary.
