The primary goal of the journal is to serve as an important, all-encompassing resource and reference guide for its readers consisting of clinicians, research workers, paramedical personnel, nutritionists and health care personnel working in the field of diabetes, mainly from the developing world. The journal receives original research articles, systematic reviews with meta-analysis, consensus and guidelines, short articles focusing on the epidemiology, etiopathogenesis, psychosocial aspects, complications and emergencies, community health, new technology/quality improvement strategies, novel therapeutic modalities, pharmacoeconomics, management as part of its clinical and basic science research spectrum and scope in the arena of diabetes.
