About the Publisher

CSIR-NIScPR came into existence on 14th January 2021 with Dr Harsh Vardhan, then the Hon’ble Minister of Science & Technology and Earth Sciences, announcing the merger of two internationally acclaimed CSIR Institutions namely CSIR-National Institute of Science Communication and Information Resources (CSIR-NISCAIR) and National Institute of Science, Technology and Development Studies (CSIR-NISTADS). Since then CSIR-NIScPR has been able to direct its activities towards becoming a globally respected institution in the domain of science policy research and science communication, using the rich legacy spanning several decades and robust inherent capabilities of erstwhile institutions. Through its efforts the new institution has taken big strides to promote Science, Technology & Innovation (ST&I) policy studies and science communication among diverse stakeholders and act as a bridge at the interface of science, technology, industry and society.

About the Journal

Started in 1963, this journal publishes Original Research Contribution as full papers, notes and reviews on classical and quantum physics, relativity and gravitation; statistical physics and thermodynamics; specific instrumentation and techniques of general use in physics, elementary particles and fields, nuclear physics, atomic and molecular physics, fundamental area of phenomenology, optics, acoustics and fluid dynamics, plasmas and electric discharges, condensed matter-structural, mechanical and thermal properties, electronic, structure, electrical, magnetic and optical properties, cross-disciplinary physics and related areas of science and technology, geophysics, astrophysics and astronomy. It also includes latest findings in the subject under News Scan. Impact Factor of IJPAP is 0.846 (JCR 2021). Authors who publish with IJPAP agree that once published copyright of the article will be transferred to the publisher, with the work simultaneously licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-BY-NC-ND 4.0 International License.. that allows others to share the work with an acknowledgement of the work’s authorship and initial publication in this journal.
